Fish Black Granite
Fish Black Granite is a deep black stone with speckles of feldspar and garnet that resemble tiny fish scales. Its distinctive shimmering crystals give countertops a rich, elegant appearance. It’s extremely hard and dense.
Key Features
Pure jet-black background studded with silver/white specks; extremely high hardness and density; minimal pattern variation (mostly solid black). Lustrous polished finish accentuates the “pearl-like” inclusions.
Price Factors
One of the more affordable black granites. Standard quality slabs may range from ₹2,000–4,000 per m² (export pricing) for polished finishes. ‘Premium’ cuts with uniform deep black color and large garnet flecks cost on the higher end.
Applications
Ideal for kitchen countertops (creates a sleek look with stainless appliances), bar counters, and elegant flooring. Also used for monuments and exterior cladding due to its color stability. Its dark surface hides minor stains and is easy to match with any cabinet color.
Choosing Supplier
Ensure slabs have even black tone throughout (some slabs have more visible white specks). BenifGranite supplies full slabs with consistent fish-scaling patterns. Confirm that the exporter’s cutting and packing minimize transport scratches.
Why Benif Granite
Our Fish Black is sourced from top quarries and individually inspected. We guarantee uniform black coloring and ship slabs wrapped in protective film. We also provide free edge profiling to meet design specs (bevel, bullnose, etc.).
Maintenance
Very low maintenance. Simply clean with a non-abrasive granite cleaner or mild detergent. The natural polish resists water and oil stains; occasional resealing (every 2–3 years) is advised to maintain the shine.
